There was a single gas station in cities across Carter County selling premium gas at the lowest price of $3.29 per gallon in the week ending Feb. 15, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.com.
The average reported cost of premium gas in cities within Carter County was $3.70 per gallon.
Of the 28 reported gas stations in cities within Carter County, five offer premium gas.
The average reported price of premium gas in Tennessee was $3.59, compared to $3.53 the week before.
Gas prices in the U.S. have fluctuated greatly in recent times and many drivers are feeling the pain at the pump.
