On Wednesday, April 9, former Daniel Boone High School standout Megan Ackerman’s current college team, the Tusculum Pioneers, won 9-8 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears.

The game took place at McCrorie Family Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Bears this season.

The Pioneers’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 9 at 4 p.m. at McCrorie Family Stadium against Lenoir-Rhyne Bears.
