Aaron Jones and Bryn Woodall both notched national qualifying times in the 5k. Jones clocked in a t 14:42.80, the third-fastest 5k mark in the NAIA this season, and Woodall ran 14:44.96, the fourth-fastest time nationally.
"Not the results we wanted tonight but it's exciting to see them get the opportunity to race in this environment," said head coach Chris Layne. "This was our first race coming off a big indoor championship and this bunch have been working extremely hard so I know they'll bounce back quickly."
