Pioneers continue to receive ITA Division II poll votes | Tusculum University
The Tusculum University men's tennis team continues to receive votes in the first Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division II Collegiate Team Rankings of the 2023 season, the ITA announced Friday.
The Pioneers (3-2) are one of 13 teams that received votes outside the ITA Top 25, a group that includes all three of its spring opponents in Lee, Charleston (W.Va.) and Young Harris. Five upcoming opponents are also included in the latest ITA rankings, including four inside the top 25.
Defending national champion Barry remains atop the ITA Top 25 poll this month, with the rest of the top five unchanged in Columbus State, Saint Leo, Flagler and Wayne State in the top five.
The next ITA Division II National Team Rankings, along with the latest singles and doubles rankings, will be released on March 6 and weekly thereafter through April 24.
The Pioneers will visit 11th-ranked North Georgia (2-1) on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at the UNG Tennis Complex at Yahoola Creek.
