Softball inks six signees for 2024 season | Milligan College

The Milligan University softball head coach Wes Holly announced the addition of six high school seniors who will join the Buffs for the 2024 season.

Milligan softball has made three trips to the NAIA National Championship Opening Round in the last six full seasons. The Buffs have eight seniors listed on the roster for the spring 2023 campaign.

"This is a very talented and versatile group of signees," said Holly. "They are also very good students and great fits for Milligan University and our softball program. We look forward to them filling our needs for the 2024 season."

Below is full list of Holly's class of 2023 high school signees.

Hannah Bates | Catcher/Infield | Cherokee HS | Rogersville, TN

"Hannah is a very versatile athlete and can catch or play middle infield," said Holly. "She also possess a strong bat." 

Kylie Blevins | Outfield | Unaka HS | Elizabethton, TN

"A strong outfielder who will bring a lot of speed to both on the field and bases," said Holly. 

Faith Caldwell | Pitcher | Tuscola HS | Waynesville, NC

"Good pitcher who brings a lot of grit and determination and should contribute in the circle," said Holly.


Mia Grasse | Outfielder | Marina HS | Westminster, CA

"Mia is an outstanding outfielder with a very high IQ and will also bring a big bat to our offense," said Holly. 

Jaylyn Halliburton | Infield | Alcoa HS | Maryville, TN

"Strong defensive first basemen who brings a big bat to our offensive lineup," said Holly. 

Jordan Wheeler | Pitcher/Infield | John Battle HS | Bristol, VA

"Good pitcher who will add depth and determination to our pitching staff," said Holly.
