Experience the sounds of the season at the annual Milligan University community Christmas concert on Saturday, Dec. 3, and Sunday, Dec. 4. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. each night and the concert begins at 7:30 p.m.
The identical performances feature Milligan’s choirs, orchestra and 46-rank Schantz pipe organ in the beautifully decorated Mary B. Martin Auditorium in Seeger Chapel. The concert also includes a carol sing-along and will conclude with a moving candle-lighting and singing of “Silent Night.”
“This concert remains one of our music program’s most cherished traditions,” said Dr. Kellie Brown, chair of Milligan’s music area. “We love sharing this gift of music with the community in celebration of the advent of the Messiah.”
Tickets for the concerts are free but required and can be reserved online at www.milligan.edu/christmas or by calling 423.461.8723.
