Congratulations to ETSU’s Dr. Ted Olson, who won an Award of Distinction from the East Tennessee Historical Society for “Sepia Tones: Exploring Black Appalachian Music” and “Tennessee Ernie Ford, Featuring Billy Strange & Glen Campbell, Classic Trio Albums, 1964 & 1975.” 

Dr. Olson is a professor in ETSU Appalachian Studies and ETSU Bluegrass, Old-Time, and Roots Music Studies.
