At last Thursday’s City Council meeting, David McQueen, long-time employee of the City of Elizabethton Parks and Recreation Department, was recognized for his service by receiving a proclamation and the news that Riverside Park would be renamed in his honor. McQueen has worked for the City department for 37 years and recently retired as Maintenance Supervisor.
