Cost of college went up for all students at Milligan College

Tuition and fees rose 3.7 percent for 2018-19 at Milligan College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Tennessee students paid $33,700 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,200 more than the $32,500 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 203 students received grants or scholarships totaling $4.7 million and 127 students took out student loans totaling more than $1 million.

Including all undergraduates (1,225), 783 students used grants or scholarships totaling $17.3 million, and 498 students took out $4.1 million in federal student loans.
