On Thursday, Feb. 27, former David Crockett High School standout Riley Hope’s current college team, the Tusculum Pioneers, won 9-7 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Young Harris Mountain Lions.

The game took place at YHC Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Lions this season.

The Pioneers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 1 p.m. at Red Edmonds Field against UNC Pembroke Braves.
