Trey Thompson, a former Greeneville High School star now playing basketball for the Iowa Hawkeyes, is headed to the NCAA Tournament.
Iowa earned the No. 9 seed and will open the tournament against the eighth-seeded Clemson Tigers.
The opening game is scheduled for Friday, March 20, at 5:50 p.m. at Benchmark International Arena.
