Ja’Kobi Gillespie, a standout graduate of Greeneville High School, delivered an impressive showing for the Tennessee Volunteers with 26 points, eight steals and seven assists, though the team narrowly lost 71-69 to the Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday, February 28.

The 6-foot-1 senior guard logged 36 minutes on the court, making significant contributions on both ends.

Gillespie and the Volunteers are set to face the South Carolina Gamecocks in an away matchup on Tuesday, March 3 at 6 p.m.
