Gillespie scores 19 but Volunteers edged 73-69 by Missouri

On Tuesday, Feb. 24, former Greeneville High School basketball standout Ja’Kobi Gillespie played a key role in the Tennessee Volunteers’ 73-69 defeat to the Missouri Tigers.

The 6-foot-1 senior guard recorded 19 points, six assists and four rebounds across 36 minutes on the floor.

Gillespie and Tennessee next take the court at home against the Alabama Crimson Tide, scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 28 at 6 p.m.
