The East Tennessee State University (ETSU) women’s tennis team is set to face Lipscomb on Saturday at the ETSU mini dome, with the match scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.

ETSU currently holds a 3-2 record this season. The Buccaneers recently secured consecutive victories against Tusculum and Murray State. Their other win was a shutout against Eastern Kentucky on January 13.

Lipscomb enters the match undefeated in 2026, holding a 3-0 record with wins over Tennessee State, Middle Tennessee State, and Western Kentucky. Mariia Dolzhenko has been a standout player for Lipscomb, posting a singles record of 12-3 during the current academic year.

Historically, ETSU has dominated the series between the two teams, winning 16 out of their last 17 meetings over the past twenty years. Lipscomb’s only victory in that span came in 2019.

Live statistics for Saturday’s match will be available online. Additional information about Buccaneer women’s tennis can be found by visiting the team’s official website and selecting the women’s tennis section.
