The East Tennessee State University (ETSU) baseball team announced on March 16 that its game against the University of North Carolina Asheville, originally set for Tuesday, March 17, has been postponed. The teams have not yet determined a makeup date for the contest.

This postponement affects the Bucs’ schedule as they were set to face the Bulldogs in Asheville. The next meeting between ETSU and UNC Asheville is planned for April 28 at Thomas Stadium.

Looking ahead, ETSU will begin Southern Conference play this weekend with a three-game series against UNC Greensboro. The first game of the series is scheduled for Friday at 6 p.m.

The impact of this postponement on both teams’ schedules remains to be seen, but future matchups are still on track.
