On Sunday, March 9, former Daniel Boone High School standout Colby Backus’ current college team, the Tennessee Volunteers, won 13-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the St. Bonaventure Bonnies.

The game took place at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Bonnies this season.

The Volunteers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11 at 4:30 p.m. at Lindsey Nelson Stadium against West Georgia Wolves.
