On Sunday, March 2, former Daniel Boone High School standout Colby Backus’ current college team, the Tennessee Volunteers, won 5-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Arizona Wildcats.

The game took place at Daikin Park. This was their first matchup against the Wildcats this season.

The Volunteers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 4 at 6 p.m. at Lindsey Nelson Stadium against Radford Highlanders.
